Denver Servers

Does Midnight have any plans to host servers from Denver? We are mostly west coast, but still want central/eastern teams to be able to play on our server, which makes Denver the best location.

We don't have plans currently to host servers in Denver. We offer Dallas as a central location. The reason for this is because Denver is not used as a large hub by most large backbone providers. So even though it is geographically a good location, to go through Denver data traffic will often go through Dallas anyway. In other words there is not typically direct connection from Denver to West coast cities on many of the major backbones, instead traffic will route to Dallas first then come to California.

Apart from that, the data centers we partner with do not have facilities in Denver. I would suggest trying out our Dallas servers to see if they will fit your needs.

We may be offering Denver servers in the near future based on one of our hosting partners opening a new location there. If there is any interest in a server in Denver please let us know.
